Irv 115 #2 Posted April 15, 2011 Sounds like your screw holding the shifter in place is either loose or broken. Same thing recently happened to me. It is a dogpoint allenhead screw with a locknut on it. Randy72 0 #4 Posted April 16, 2011 Irv thanks for your information. The set screw to hold the shifter in place was not the problem. When I checked the posts you suggested there was mention of a roll pin in the shifter fork. that was the problem it is now fixed and readyy to put the tractor back together.
