catman81056 3 #1 Posted April 12, 2011 I have a 1968 Electro 12. There is a leak at the Shifter (forward/reverse)shaft. I have looked a the schematic of the hydro unit and it shows 2 Orings, I thought there would be a seal. I got a lead from a member on where to find a seal kit. They have one for $42.50. I don't plan on taking the whole pump apart if I can help it, and $42.50 is pretty steep for 2 Orings. So, has anyone replaced these before and would know the correct size? catman81056 3 #2 Posted April 13, 2011 I called LJ Fluid Power (269-623-4150) initially and got the seal kit price. I called them back to se if I could just get the 2 Orings. They needed a $10.00 min order. I asked if they could just tell me the size of the rings, I gave the Tech the WH part#'S, he came back and told me he would just send me the 2 rings, FREE Gave him my address and he'll put them in the mail today. WOW acts like this make a persons day. If you need any hard to get hydrolic stuff, give these people a try, they just might make your day :wh:
