Shuboxlover 476 #1 Posted April 11, 2011 Went on a late night run last night....getting home at 12:45. I've been looking for a low hour 520 and also have been looking for a 2 stage blower for A LONG time. This popped up on CL, I dropped everything and went and got it. I don't know the year (the model tag is there but blank ) He put a new seat on it, along with the mounting. The tractor has 280 hrs and runs EXCELLENT!!!! Everything works...lights, guages, EVERYTHING!!! It also came with a 2-stage (as you can see ) a 42" blade (already sold) and a 42" recycler mower deck (....anyone.....anyone.... it's for sale and in GREAT shape) wheel weights, hub caps, manual, and an almost new set of 2-link tire chains. The paint is probably a 7 out of 10, kind of weird with such low hours that the paint isn't the best I'm gonna touch some stuff up and it should look pretty darn good when I'm done. It will be my main mower AND my snowblower (which means I won't have a cab anymore ) My other two 520's are now for sale

Kelly 1,029 #9 Posted April 12, 2011 Nice, and I see it has the high dollar old style hub caps, did you get all 4?
Shuboxlover 476 #10 Posted April 12, 2011 did you get all 4? He had the two rear ones, but they were in pretty rough shape....rusty, chrome flaked off, so I opted for the newer style rear ones that are in pretty good shape....but something tells me that this isn't the last time I'll hear from this guy
Hammerhead 816 #11 Posted April 12, 2011 Hey now that is a very nice pile of goodies you have and the tractor looks great as well! Nice score on that for sure! Oh by the way, I would keep the other Horse's in the herd, ya never know, the Boss may want to help with the snow duties, or Grandkids like to help also! Hammerhead :wh:
Shuboxlover 476 #12 Posted April 12, 2011 or Grandkids like to help also! Hammerhead It better be a good 12-14 years before grand-kids appear Turns out the tractor and deck are a 1994 and the blower is a 1995

MalMac 1,331 #17 Posted April 12, 2011 I know what you mean about the paint not being what you would think it should be for the low hours. I pic up a low hour 94 520 that the paint is a 5 or 6 out of 10. I guess it's all how and where the tractor was kept. But you did make a nice find there. I have got a 2 stage on mine. Used it once parked it till I got a cab for it. I guess I am just getting too old to eat snow like I used to. The cab makes so much more enjoyable.
