T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,496 #4 Posted October 26, 2007 So how did it do? Did you wear your arm out lifting and dropping the blade?? It did great. And, you're sort of right, you have to lift and lower the blade a lot. But, it doesn't take long to develop a routine, right hand - moved tractor into first gear, left hand lower lift lever, release clutch, moved forward, stop, left hand raise lift lever, right hand moved tractor into reverse, back up, repeat process. It actually becomes routine just after a few minutes. And when the blade takes to big of a bite, you just slightly raise the lift lever as the tractor continues forward. Hydraulic lift would have been nice, as well as a hydrostatic transmission. What would be nice is a blade for my C-141 automatic as it has both. If you notice there is no weights on the tractor, which it didn't seem to mind anyway.
