Parking brake on round hood?

I'm looking to modify my 551 to have a parking brake, Has anyone done this yet? Or thought of a way to do it?

If you put the tractor in gear it will hold in place. Obviously not running though.

You could make a little lever the flipps into postion which holds the clutch/brake petal in the forward position, thus disengaging the clutch and applying the brake. That way you can set the brake with the motor running.

I've never had a 551, I didnt realize they dont have a parking brake.

Maybe you can use the bits from a '62 on tractor? Here is a picture of a '62 setup:

Here's the setup on a '58:
