dave24 18 #1 Posted March 3, 2011 hello, i have a suburban wheel horse and im not sure what model suburban it is. It does not have the original engine and there is 2 holes in the hood which appear to be where choke and throttle cables went but they dont look original. The serial number is 29255. Also, i was wondering the differences between the 1960 suburban hoods and the 1961 ones. It looks like the pics of the 61 hoods have extra rolls down the middle of the hood and the back. thx alot, david.
Kelly 1,029 #2 Posted March 3, 2011 A 1960 hood has a square hole about 2"x3" that a plate with the choke and throttle levers fit in, the 1961 has small hole on the sides of the steering shaft, and a large hole right behind the steering shaft, post a pic, of your tractor we can tell you a year and model.
