so i havnt had much time to work on the 1978 c101,but i got the body panels and pretty much all the other goodies done,im waiting on decals from terry, and i had to borrow the rear wheels for my 414,the tire that blew real bad,so here she is,new rebuilt engine that just purrs,i fixed all the vibration mounts, and every single bolt came off this machine, stripped and repainted,i didnt use any body filler but she will be a worker, shes going to carry the tiller,so i want to get a new carb and ags when $ allows, but thats a ways down the road,so here she is,i didnt have time to take her out side for a photo shoot, when i get the decals(i cant wait to apply them,i dont want to use her till then

A trick for painting the gas tank is to clean it, scuff it, and then use the Krylon black paint for plastic. I have done my last two tanks with it and they look great...just an idea.

That is one beautiful tractor. I just have to ask. How long did it take?

thanks for looking guys,it took me since about middle of jan i started it,i did the motor myself except the bore,i didnt have much time latley,so it took 2 months,i will paint the gas tank,i did plan to do it,and now the weather is going to get better so i will do it,the color is bright, but the one behind her is darker and i like the brighter color over the dark, its just tremclad, sprayed with my critter sprayer,it works great for the money,i also did the floor boards in rocker undercoat spray,i did all of them because i think a little more bkack looks cool and they are totally protected and give good traction for only 10 bucks for a can,and you can paint it if u want
