Gerry w 2 #1 Posted February 22, 2011 I purchased Pat's creation, 1067, from Rollerman this last summer, and alas, put it to work cutting the lawn in Vermont. Worked great until one day it didn't want to shift anymore...long story long, I believe it needs a new belt and I'm at a loss as to the part number, length and width. The tractor technically is an 867, and I believe a stock belt would work. Any help is greatly appreciated. Gerry
oldandred 15 #2 Posted February 22, 2011 if it the same as the 867 its the 9691 belt or 1/2"x70"
stevasaurus 22,863 #3 Posted February 22, 2011 Gerry...I have a #1576 for the drive belt for my 857....for a 1067 belt #1586. Hope that helps. that cross references to #1576 equals Gate #6870 for an 8 horse... or #1586 equals Gates #6876 for a 10 horse. Widths are both 1/2" by either 70 or 76" depending on the engine you have.

Gerry w 2 #5 Posted February 22, 2011 It's got a teccy hh100 in it, soooo?????
stevasaurus 22,863 #6 Posted February 22, 2011 Best bet then Gerry..1/2" belt and the string method.
racinfool40 202 #7 Posted February 22, 2011 Gerry as Steve said string it or use the old belt if possible to measure.. If it has the hh100 tecky it should have the 1" crank, so it should use the 1" drive pulley from an 8hp kohler, if it has the tecky plate under the motor it should sit the same as the 8hp kohler and the belt for that is 1/2"x70.. should get you in the ball park!!
Kelly 1,029 #8 Posted February 22, 2011 A stock belt might not fit, if I remember correctly, he put a newer style PTO on it, and may have the bigger pulley, unless he found a pulley for a late 60's long frame and used it, might be best to PM Pat.
Gerry w 2 #9 Posted February 22, 2011 He did put a bigger PTO on it, newer style. Thanks guys, I'll PM him.
