midnight rambler 36 #1 Posted February 20, 2011 can anybody help me on some info on the 1988 520HC as far as production numbers go and is it a rare tractor? what set it apart from the normal 520H? my email is tomwh1971@yahoo.com
Sparky-(Admin) 21,492 #2 Posted February 20, 2011 You wont be able to get production numbers as that info was never made public except on a couple Wheel Horse models. The 520-HC was just a 520-H but without some of the frills like the chrome goodies. I think it was marketed towards a commercial landscape/maintenance company as they wouldnt care about frills. I think the "C" in HC stands for commercial even. Its a good solid tractor and you might say it was rare, but its not more valuable because of that as its more of a stipped down version of the 520. It might even be worth a bit less than a 520-H in the exact same shape as it wont have the frills. Mike..........
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,359 #3 Posted February 20, 2011 Here is my 520 HC (1988). Like Sparky said it stands for HYDRO COMMERCIAL. It also came with the swept forward front end in 1988 when all the other 520's in 88 came with the straight axle. I love mine
