How big are 23x12-8.5 grass tires?

This may sound a bit of a daft question, but what is the diameter of NEW 23x12-8.5 grass tires?

The reason I ask is for my 6 wheeled project..

I have been having a good measure up to see if everything will fit as it should but due to the cost I am having to use 6 part worn tires which even with the same psi in each seem to have a diameter of 21.5 to 2"!!

That seems a lot of rubber to wear away from a new tire to me!!

So are new 23x12-8.5 tires actually 23" in diameter?

Well first they don't all match the size on the side, I've seen a 2" diff. from brand to brand, and be marked the same size, even in Racing they have to measure the tires to get matched sets, so your going to have to measure them to make sure you have 6 the same or at least close.

I bought 4 tires all of the same size at the same time and they were 1-2 inchs different in height. Good luck finding six of the same size.
