Roads (trails) being what they were (or more accurately were not) at the time, it certainly isn't out of the question that a cannon ball could have fallen off from something. littleredrider 409 #29 Posted July 14, 2011 Not far from where I am is a gravel pit or dirt or something er other, where years ago they dug up a couple of cannons. I heard this 20-some years ago, but thinking they said civil war, but like I said, that was 20 years ago. There is alot of history in the town, so who knows...
