Dresden Guy 24 #26 Posted February 8, 2011 Knucklebuster283 - You'll find answers to any and all your WH questions. By the way, if you remember who you sold that C-160A to, I may make a trip Maine to buy it! Good to have a "Volunteer" on board.
knucklebuster283 0 #27 Posted February 10, 2011 I now live in Cottontown Tenn. Sold the C160 to my wives cusin, she gave it to her son. He couldn't figure out how to hook everything up and let it sit since. I'll be back up there in July, will be lookin to get it back. Got the gt home, runs ok need to redo carb and fuel pump, and look into what's up with the pto clutch. She's in really good shape for the year no rust anywhere. Must have been garage kept. Will get pics as soon as it stops snowin. Wish list now started first on list is a push blade. Will be buildin that myself.
Duff 206 #28 Posted February 10, 2011  ! Glad to have you aboard. Got to ask - is your screen name related to wrenching on a small-block Chevy? Duff
knucklebuster283 0 #30 Posted February 13, 2011 The answer to your question Duff is yes. In my opinion the 283 small block was Chevy's best engine. Thats why they stopped buildin em.

MaineDad 85 #36 Posted March 18, 2011 You should take the PTO bell off and see what condition the clutch is in. You may have a retaining clip that let go, or more likely, the PTO disc is bad. Let us know what you see. By the way, where in Maine did you live before? Glad you left one of the highest taxed states in the USA?
