Charger 12

Recommended Posts

Ok well I purchased the Charger from a friend and he forgot to mention that the trains is leaking something terrible. I think that its leaking from the pump but im not to sure and I can not tear it down yet due to having to plow the oncoming snow. Can anyone give me some insight on where to start for when i do pull it. I would like to just pull it out and re-seal it. Are their kits for the o-rings and seals or do you have to purchase them separately? What would you guys do???

Not sure about overhaul kits but I would clean it off real good and check it over. There are a few screw in plugs that may need tightened up.

Would anyone happen to have pictures of where the plugs / screws are that will need tightened? Has anyone posted pictures or a procedure on how to remove and tear down these trans.

You have the 5062 Tranny, follow the link below, in the top space put in your model number, put "none" in the second blank, it will then show the manual you can download for the tranny, yours is a Sundstrand.
