dlhirsch 0 #3 Posted February 3, 2011 How can I verify which model I have?
nylyon-(Admin) 7,183 #4 Posted February 3, 2011 Forgot to say If you can't find the model number / serial number tag, then post the numbers on the engine. Pictures always help too.
dlhirsch 0 #5 Posted February 3, 2011 I will see if I can locate the model/serial tag and report back soon. Thanks
kpinnc 11,506 #6 Posted February 3, 2011 If the engine is original, and it has points and a standard automotive-type coil, it should be a 1972 model. If it has no points and the weird coil "thing" attached to the top left (if facing the flywheel) of the engine shroud, it's a 1971. Should help you narrow it down, anyway... dlhirsch 0 #7 Posted February 4, 2011 The engine is original. The engine has the "weird" coil thing. It was replaced about 2 years ago.
kpinnc 11,506 #8 Posted February 4, 2011 The engine is original. The engine has the "weird" coil thing. It was replaced about 2 years ago. Sorry for the description. My bronco 14 has one as well. Your tractor is a 1971 model. Kevin
dlhirsch 0 #9 Posted February 14, 2011 I was unable to locate a tag on the tractor itself. The model of the engine is a Kohler, K321S. But I think 1971 sounds about right.
