Dresden Guy 24 #1 Posted January 25, 2011 I am buying a B-60 from a neighbor and here are some photos. The B-60 includes a 36" SD deck and a new/never used 48" blade. The pics will show some customization. From the pics, what's original and what is not? Let me hear from my RS friends / gurus !!! 61-07K801 (1976) How about the shifter.....is that from a GTO? One of the decals shouldn't be there, or is the light not supposed to be there? The engine, K161, K181 ?????, runs incredibly sweet! The "Flames" are not original The blade is a BRAND NEW #79364 This tractor, found on CL, was in a neighbor's garage just
VinsRJ 723 #2 Posted January 25, 2011 I'm not a B-Series expert but, that looks like a nice unit....... Shifter handle is an add on.... replace it with a black ball. :banghead:
TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #3 Posted January 25, 2011 Unoriginal stuff: Electric start, battery, and any of the electrical accessories. Seat and whatever kind of "lift kit" is under it. All 4 wheels and definitely the rear tires. The lower decal on the rear fender and the hood side decals. Shifter knob - is possibly Mopar or aftermarket. Here's an almost original B-60 (wrong steering wheel and a few other questionable things): Recoil start K-161 7hp engine:
Kelly 1,030 #4 Posted January 25, 2011 Like TT said, lots of added stuff, but still a NICE unit, I hope your 7' tall with the seat lift, and the plow handle looks like a rat fink shifter, and the complete clevis hitch is a bonus.
porkchop 1 #5 Posted January 25, 2011 :banghead: Thats a real nice tractor!!! The shifter is not from a gto. The gto actually came from the factory with a round knob type shifter.
dandan111 31 #6 Posted January 25, 2011 Somebody had some fun restoring it. Looks like it is still fresh and ready for work! That angle lever is really something!

KC9KAS 4,741 #8 Posted January 25, 2011 Nice looking ! I wouldn't change a thing! But, after seeing your tractor, I need to customize my plow angle lever a little bit more!

AMC RULES 37,143 #10 Posted January 25, 2011 Has some pretty cool custom touches and shouldn't be too hard to put back to original either, if that's the direction you decide to take down the road.

wheelhorsey 0 #12 Posted June 7, 2012 Does anyone know what the belt sizes for all three belts (or which ever ones you know the sizes of) on a 1976 wheel horse B-60 are? I need to buy belts for my old tractor. Does anyone have this tractor running with correct belts? If so, could you please tell me what sizes the belts are?! thank you!!! rmaynard 15,767 #13 Posted June 7, 2012 B-60 drive belt is a part number 7473, which is 5/8" x 81.95". What other belts are you looking for? Mower deck belts? What the model number of the deck?
Ken B 3,165 #14 Posted June 7, 2012 That tractor looks real sweet just as it is. The only thing I would do is remove the Auto Zone flames.
SNYFIX 13 #15 Posted June 7, 2012 It's your choice but it appears the blade is in the "aggresive" hole. Place the top bar in the next set of holes down for "normal" work. It is your choice though.
