Rattle can/silver wheel color match?

Recommended Posts

Rollerman

I have a few wheels here I'd like to touch up on the later 80ies Horses, an ATV, & even my boat trailer.

I'm looking for a good color match in a rattle can like Wheel Horse used in the 300/400/500 series wheels......."kinda of a metallic grey"?

Most brands of paint I've come across so far seem to be to reflective.

Any advice or has someone come up with a close match?

Thanks in advance. :banghead:

Check the Dupli-Color "touch-up" aerosols, Stephen.

They have a few metallic silvers that are real close.

I'm pretty sure they're all lacquer-based, and they aren't overly glossy. That's actually a "plus" when trying to match something that's faded.

You can also use their clear coat it if you want shiny. :banghead:

If using touch up paint, try GM wheel silver, it is very close.
