greg6810 0 #1 Posted January 19, 2011 I fond the forum while trying to find out how to put my chain back on my 42st05 I purchased a 312-8 in 1989 with a blower a 42 inch and a 48 inch side discharge decks wanted 2 the same 1 for back up but they had these they gave me the dumping trailer which has mostly been chain to a bush out back. So little did I know they would last me over 25 years and become part of the family LOL. Now I am looking for tires after 23 years I guess I can put new sneakers on it, Any idea where I can get the best deal.. I am a HVAC TECH I reside in Garnet Valley ,Pa near the Brandywine Battlefields and the delaware stae line.
rmaynard 15,507 #2 Posted January 19, 2011 :banghead: Nice to have you aboard. Get yourself a free Photobucket account and post some pictures for us. Dresden Guy 24 #5 Posted January 19, 2011 ~~~~~~ ~~~~~ Greg6810 good to have you aboard. You've come to the right place for great WH advice and knowledge, and yes, just plain old banter and B.S.! But you can search virtually any thing WH and someone will have posted awesome pictures/vids and answers, etc..... There are some tire vendors in the main "Wheel Horse links" section. I live in east-central Ohio ...... Dresden, OH, hometown of Longaberger Baskets (you've probably never heard of them). Steve aka Dresden Guy

Kelly 1,029 #15 Posted January 20, 2011 :banghead: Try your local tire shop, or farm store, spend a few $$ more get brand name tires, I would recomend 4 ply, you should be set for another 25 years, if money is tight I know it is most everywhere, you can get cheap tires on ebay, watch the shipping cost, but most times you get what you pay for, but good deals can be had.
