Dresden Guy 24 #13 Posted January 18, 2011 A friend of mine owns one of the Strucks..... he is located in Coshocton, Ohio. He told me he has owned his for 10 years. His Struck has a FEL installed. I had never seen one until seeing his. He must have lots of ballast to keep it from tipping. Would like to see pics. I talked to my friend and he has a model M-1612 with the 12 hp Kohler, and he has never installed the manual bucket - it's NOS. I said it was a FEL, but it is a bucket (?) by Struck that he has never installed.
VinsRJ 721 #14 Posted January 18, 2011 Strucks are about as cool as one can get. They are like little tanks..... and ruff on paved driveways. When the time comes of it in action!

cpete1 332 #17 Posted January 18, 2011 Could you possibly give us a picture of the drive system. I've been researching different companies looking to build a crawler. There is one guy on utube who put band breaks on a Wheel horse and welded teeth to the rims. Wondering how they did it in your machine. Good luck with the fix, Nice looking unit. Hats off to ya boss, I hope the machine exceeds your expectations. If I do try to fabricate something, going to have to try awfully hard to stay with present company here. Thanks much again.
