Ginge 0 #1 Posted January 12, 2011 Hi guy's Im new here I bought a D160 Auto last weekend with a snow blower attached, My problem is the PTO Belt comes off within 5 min of running, I cant see where to adjust it, <_< It seems like there is a plate with the bottom pully attached that moves upwards and throws the belt, Expecting 25cm snow tonight, Any help much appreciated!! Operator 7 #9 Posted January 13, 2011 I've had the same problem. There is a tightener on the right side [as you sit on tractor] threaded rod with pin in it, pull pin out then threaded rod thing will fold forard, turn threaded rod to tighten, then pry assembly towards engine untill it goes "over center", put pin back in. That is how to tighten belt. That spring in front helps keep the mule drive from bouncing, I picked one up at TSC. Even after I did all this I still had belt flying off. So I went and bought a new belt [Kevlar, Gates] and installed that. Now it works! Randy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Ginge 0 #10 Posted January 13, 2011 Well guys it's 11.15pm here, We have had about 8" of snow, I went out just before the Mrs got home from work 10.30pm and done my driveway in about 15 minutes, Whaaahooo The belt stayed on!!
