twin rear bagger replacement bags

Recommended Posts

118lfd

I have a 1989 310-8 with a 37 inch side discharge and twin rear bagger and cannot find the replacement bags for the bagger. I don't know the part number for the bagger and cannot find anything on the toro site. Does anyone know the part numbers for the replacement bags?

Looks promising but it doesn't seem to have a flat bottom like the original, maybe the picture is deceiving? I would like to see a picture of the 'mowpart' item to see what they have.

Note: I have used my bagger since 1987 and it is now just starting to wear around the frame! What endurance Wheel Horse products have.

It states pan 14"x 17" and that is the dimensions of the base of my bags. For 24.00 I am going to give them a shot.

I think the pan is the bottom and the rail goes through the loop stitched in the top.

Down the page farther it states

For Toro Wheel Horse Lawn & Garden Tractors

Replacement for Toro Part Number 93-1623

Fits both sides of the collection system

Black polyester fabric and black plastic pan

Frame is NOT included. Fabric bag only

Please be sure to let us know how they work out when you put them on, and if the volume & size are close to the original. I need to order a pair also.

On Amazon.com, the only person to rate them had some negative comments, but that might just be one person.

I put them on yesterday, they are the exact same size (Tall bagger). They might be a little thinner material or the older ones are just stiffer from age. the handle on the bottom attaches to the stitchinig on the sides. Not bad just different. They were not too bad putting on. I had to cut the old ones off cause they were wet and frozen from being stored outside. They have the plastic pan on the bottom as well. I got them really quick and they were the rights ones first time. The guy who rated them on amazon used them then complained they would not take them back.

Installing them, you have to unbolt the hanger than thread the bags on from one side and work it around like putting pants on a belt. The last few inches are a little work but it only took me 15 minutes to do both bags

They are 24.43 each

I am at work for 2 days but will post some pics on tuesday. For that price I am thinking about getting a pair for stock

Mine have the two handles on the back that sqeeze together and then fit into the slots to hold the bag in. Is that what yours are like?

My bags have a round bar frame all the way around the top that the bag threads over. Then there is the hanger bracket bolted to the front and in the rear the bag is cutout so the top's latch clips onto the round bar frame.

Great review of this item, I will be pulling the trigger on two. Thanks 118lfd!

Note: My setup is the same as 118lfd describes.
