Nick 13 #5 Posted May 7, 2008 Great looking new GT. Only you might not want to get dirt on such a shiny clean tractor. Jason, I think the plastic PTO belt guard system was first on the 1997 models.
Guest Chambley4 #6 Posted May 7, 2008 I have the same tractor. It's a great machine. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3250/238051...3eeb914.jpg?v=

92Pony 1 #8 Posted May 7, 2008 Great looking new GT. Only you might not want to get dirt on such a shiny clean tractor. Jason, I think the plastic PTO belt guard system was first on the 1997 models. My 520h has that same belt guard on it, and I think the previous owner told me it's a '96.....I think. Doesn't matter though, as that 60th anny is one beautiful machine!! Banjo 0 #9 Posted May 7, 2008 NIIIIIIIIIICEEEEEEE! tractor! Why is everyone talking about the belt guard instead of the cup holder? One more thing. Does anyone know if that belt guard will fit on all the 300, 400 and 500 series tractors? I might want one if it's reasonably priced. lol
WheelHorse_of_course 99 #10 Posted May 8, 2008 I would say 50% of the parts on that puppy would fit a 1969! The cup holder is nice, but does it have a cigar lighter? Congrats on a fine machine
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,531 #11 Posted May 9, 2008 Nice looking tractor. Congratulations. My '98 314-8 has the plastic belt guard, but not a cup-holder.
wh500special 2,244 #12 Posted May 9, 2008 I will have to do some looking to see if I can find the kit number, but Toro offered the belt guard as a kit to retrofit older tractors...perhaps someone else has the info? Steve
Craig Arndt 6 #13 Posted May 15, 2008 Look at the paint on that! I can't get over how beautiful these tractors are. So they do still make a rear discharge deck... cool.
TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #14 Posted May 15, 2008 Would you guys believe that vacuumed-formed piece of black plastic called a PTO clutch / belt cover (P/N 94-3704 for the older non-electric PTO clutch models) is only a little over $81. :wtf: And to think - a lot of the people that were buying these tractors in the mid-90's were taking them off because they were a nuisance. I'd bet there's a bunch of them hanging on garage or shed walls all across the USA.
linen beige 14 #15 Posted May 15, 2008 I have the same tractor. It's a great machine. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3250/238051...3eeb914.jpg?v=0 That's a great looking machine in it's own right, and Jr. will grow into it all too soon. But I like the Kabootie in your avatar much better.
