HUB UPDATE FOR MY 854

I had asked about this on another thread here

I went to my Local Toro Dealer to check it out! So I can buy this hub from Toro,so I did (P/N 105762) Its for a 1 inch axle, It fits my 854 transmission perfect. Also got (4) Square Head Bolts, and jam nuts, and (2) 1/4 x 1" woodruff keys. Pictures of hub I will be using

I want to thank TT and Bob for their help on this project :banghead::thumbs:

PS The tractor I looked at on Toro was Model# A1-11B801 (GT-1100 8 speed (1984) :ROTF:

I did a bit of work on the hub today.Give it a shot of red paint yesterday,today I got it ready to install on the 854. Put the hub bolts in the hub. I will use the nuts that I already have on the tractor.Here is a couple of pictures!!!

I put the heavy duty hubs on my 854 today!!!! Here is some pictures!!

wildman It was running before this operation!! :banghead: I just wanted the heavy duty hubs with the extra locking screws :hide:

If anyone every has to change their hubs. Good advice !!!!! you should use Anti-seze, they will come right of no effort :banghead: I even use a little dab on nuts and bolts. :thumbs:

I used a little grease on the ranger when I swapped the tranny over. Guess I should have made sure the bolt was TIGHT, cause I went to drive in the back of the truck, got halfway up the ramp and the right rear wheel fell off!!!!

But they do come off much easier now!!!!
