smoreau 658 #1 Posted January 3, 2011 :ychain: my 2009 project, took 9 mounths to build It has so many things that I can't list them all. some of them are back up camera. turn signals, high low beam headlamps, working wipers, sony cd player, cb, working guages, brake lights, back up lights, and of course siron and flashing lights. It was made mostly of 16 guage sheet metal and 1" square tubing. some angle iron and some odds and ends. can you guess how much was invested? I quit keeping track after $3000.00 , This year or I mean 2010 I removed the craftsman 6 speed trans axle ( the fourth one ) and replaced it with a custom hydro gear pump special made for my appl. and a hydrolic motor driving a 1" axle with a diff. It has 3 1/2" of rear suspension thanks to 4 motor cycle coil over shocks. travels along at 15mph and now has a smoth ride. total investment is about seven g's but you will never see another one like it. :D
