wh79d160 52 #1 Posted December 30, 2010 No snow, hasn't even rained here in over 2 months. Just as well work on my mower deck that I just wanted to change the belts on a couple months ago. One of the spindle shafts is bad. One of the needle bearings dried out(before I owned it) & ate some grooves in the shaft. Anyone have a manual for this deck? I down loaded the manual motherload that was posted a while back, But I don't have one for the 62. I know those decks all look alike but in the manuals I do have, they list 3 different shafts. :ychain:

MikesRJ 552 #5 Posted December 30, 2010 Or any of these? Perhaps the shaft you are looking for is part number 4120 - Blade Spindle in the 1962 or 63 manuals. 1962 - RMR-3661 http://www.mywheelhorse.com/graphics/file/...61_RMR-3661.pdf 1962 - RMR-3262/3662 http://www.mywheelhorse.com/graphics/file/...3262_A-7137.pdf 1963 - RMR-323 (the one TT listed above) http://www.mywheelhorse.com/graphics/file/...1963_RM-323.pdf 1964-65 - RMR-324 http://www.mywheelhorse.com/graphics/file/...4-65_RM-324.pdf

Terry, that deck does look like mine & Mike, haven't had a chance to look thru your pdf files yet ,but I plan to. everyone for your & effort.
wh79d160 52 #7 Posted December 31, 2010 I would say I have a RMR3262. No shield in the front & therefore I need a 4120 shaft. P.S. Tyson. When you headache goes away Go Huskers, let's figure out what deck you have.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,921 #8 Posted December 31, 2010 The A-37279 looks like a 1963 serial number so it may be a RM-323 or RM-363 depending on with of cut. These use the 4120 spindle. Garry
wingrider 21 #9 Posted January 1, 2011 Just out of curiosity I added up just the availible parts that were listed in Terry's link and came up with a grand total of $1184.98. Is there something wrong with this picture? wingrider
