Sparky-(Admin) 21,075 #4 Posted December 29, 2010 Yes all the D accesories available will work with yours, except D-250 stuff of course. The 18 auto was really just the first D series and were called D-160, D-180, and D200 after 1973. Mike........

Sparky-(Admin) 21,075 #7 Posted December 29, 2010 Buying a hydro with just a photo is not a good idea. You really need to see it in person. Is it leaking? Is the hydro still strong after its fully warmed up? You'll need to test drive it (assuming its a runner). Mike........
pfrederi 17,515 #8 Posted December 29, 2010 Definitely take a test drive. Get it warmed up and try to climb a steep grade/ditch or put it against your truck and see if it will spin its wheels on clean pavement. For that price should have a 3pt. If it isn't a runner then it is not worth the $1300 Personally I do not see the deck as a real value added option (unless you can sell it). It is only 48' and you can get that much deck on a C series for a lot less money and it will be much more maneuverable and easier on gas.....

Operator 7 #13 Posted December 30, 2010 See what RickV said? I ditto that! Clean unit, nice tires, no oil or grease drips. Only thing I see is no oil filter I have a D-180 here [still] that does have one, behind the tin! Can't figure that out. Randy

I'll agree though...thats a very nice 18A & if it runs as good as it looks you'll have a nice tractor. I really like mine. :ychain:
