retlt0123 0 #1 Posted May 2, 2008 I have a C-125 with a 42 inch rear discharge deck on it and i am wondering about the belt routing. there is a diagram on the deck however it doesn't make clear which pulley on the mule drive should be closest to the frame is it the v pulley on the shaft first and then the flatter pulley on the outside or the other way around ? if someone could take a picture of the belt as it comes thru the "idler / tensioner" / "Mule drive" so that i could seee which way the belt routes and if i have it twisting correctly i would sure appreciate it
TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #2 Posted May 2, 2008 "V" pulley goes on the inside, and the flat idler is on the outside. The belt comes off the top of the PTO pulley inside groove, passes over the inside pulley on the tensioner, twists CW 1/4 turn, around the left side on the drive pulley on the deck, twists CCW 1/4 turn, backside of the belt around the flat idler on the tensioner, and on up to the PTO pulley again.
