Engines started as a 2.3 ford, now has 40 over aris pistons and rings, stroker forged rods, reworked Esslinger super D head with over sized Titanium valves, MSD ignition and trans is stock from a Ford Ranger thats been reshimmed, clutch is a double disk Center Force Tires are 31x15.5x15 Cepeks After destroying the Ford 9 inch we went to a Rochester Gear input and ring gear, along with Strange axles with a straight bearing setup rated for 500hp. Hooked to the sled highest speed this yr was 21 mph pulling a 6500lb sled average speed is 17-19 mph on 300ft tracks Duane Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
