rmaynard 15,308 #1 Posted December 16, 2010 I went to see Jordon (jdog_kustoms) last night to look at a Lawn Ranger that he knew about. Didn't get the Ranger, but I did come home with this 1976 B-100 that got a little too close to the campfire. Actually, this is what happens when a drop light unknowingly falls onto the seat and turns on while the owner was on vacation. Besides the superficial damage, the B's in good shape. Jordon kept the engine and wheels for one of his own, so with a set of wheels from my old C-101, and an empty spot for an engine of my choice, we loaded up and came home. Thanks Jordon. Maybe JimD was right. I should change my name to "B100BOB". Add another B-100 to the signature line. Bob

stevasaurus 22,528 #4 Posted December 16, 2010 Ooooohhhhh...the smell of burning horse flesh. I see another Amazing restore in your future. Good save Bob. I know where there is one B-100 that you can not have. I like that B-100Bob name. :hide:
rmaynard 15,308 #5 Posted December 16, 2010 Bob, What engine is going back into this? Not bad looking little tractor. It really is a nice little tractor. The original owner kept it inside, and according to jdog, waxed it once a week. I have a K241AS that is torn down to be rebuilt, but I don't want to put a shaker on this one. I would like to find a good K241S so as to keep it all "B-100". I would be willing to trade my K241AS for a re-buildable K241S. However, I do have my eye on a 1976 VW Beetle engine. Its hard to do metal working & machining with wood chisels! But I hear the flashlight came in handy! Chisels make good scraping tools, he can scrape the rusted burnt paint right down to bare metal.
