puddlejumper 67 #1 Posted December 5, 2010 Got to go for a ride today. And since everything seams mechanically sound and working smoothly I guess I am cautiously wishing for a little of the white stuff. Maybe 2 6inch snow falls between now and march say maybe a month apart with 50 degree weather between them. Yea that would be allright just enough to play in. puddlejumper 67 #4 Posted December 5, 2010 Duke, If it comes 3 feet me and the tractor will both be in hibernation. This area would be overwhelmed. Not sure but thats probably close to 3 years worth for us.And since I work outside year round you can keep it up there.
Redbirdman 7 #5 Posted December 5, 2010 Awesome.........(Of course, I am a little biased)........but you did add a little fire to my interest! What exactly is the little belt guard over the main guard for? I have this belt guard in the pile-o-crap that came with my 701 but I never figgered what it did? And what does the smaller belt drive? Sparky-(Admin) 21,083 #7 Posted December 5, 2010 Are you running any weights on it? I'm thinkin 6" of snow and no wheel weights would not be fun. I ran dual AG's once with the inner ones being fluid filled and the outers with just air. Mike...........
puddlejumper 67 #8 Posted December 5, 2010 Sparky, it really doesn't matter...it's really just to play with, we really don't get that much snow here. Oh, and the answer to your question is.. no, it isn't weighted.
WheelHorse_of_course 99 #9 Posted December 5, 2010 Glad to see you are ready. If you get more than a little you may want to remove those extra wheels to give you better traction. :ychain:
