KB9LOR 4 #1 Posted November 2, 2010 Got the coil set at .008 still no spark, does the rectifier have anything to do with spark? (I am not too experienced at wiring) Mine has the 3 spade set up with them pointing up, (still mounted) the wire on the left side was burned/broke of, I repaired and reattached it. still no spark at all if it is bad does the rectifier have to be off a raider 10 with a HH100? I know lots of questions, but some of these projects are waiting on parts.
puddlejumper 67 #2 Posted November 2, 2010 JJust some stabs in the dark, clean rust etc. from flywheel and coil contacts with fine sandpaper, disconect kill wire to rule out any bad switches and such, this may not cure your problem but may narrow your search. And if that fails get out your 2 dollar bills.
KB9LOR 4 #3 Posted November 3, 2010 Never thought of that, may have a crack at it tomorrow after work. I have everything clean as a whistle, even had the coil checked, everything is okay, but no spark, I just hate to yank that tecky and drop that 12 kohler in, but may have to, just hate to rewire it all..oh well.
