gt 14 transmissoin problem

well i got my gt 14 tractor back together. i put on a plow my problem is the 0plow moves up very slow.and when i drive it around i need more throttle to move it.also when i got it they moved it with the push valve closed.can i loosen the bolt that the push valve goes threw and try to tighten it more do u think this would help? any help would be appriciated thanks,mike
