876 with sickle mower

Recommended Posts

LeonardS

I have the disease!! I ran into an 876 with a sickle mower on it. It runs good and looks good. The guy is asking $650 but wants it gone, so I think it can be bought for $500.

When I bought the Haban sickle mower for my JD 140, I paid $500 for that alone so the 876 with a sickle mower seemed like a good deal.

What say you Wheel Horse Gods??

Thanks for the help!

Leonard

Well I am not a Wheel Horse God.............but if you can get it for $500 and it is complete and everything is operational, then you have done well!

If he's happy with your offer and you are too, go or it. You only live once and you can't take it with you when you go. If you don't buy he tractor, you will spend he money on something else and the money and tractor will both be gone. The tactor will last forever. The money, your wife will spend it for you.

Looks like a nice set up from the pics my opinion I,d offer 500.00 easily pretty hard to find in that shape. Most cycle bars Ive seen need alot of work or shot..so if your happy go for it.. Keep us posted

That tractor looks great, The dirty little secret here

is that these old tractors a way undervalued in the

used market. Compare that forty year tractor to any-

thing on the market today. And what on the market

new today will even be around in forty years?
