electro 12 to charger 12 hydro lift

I put a hydro lift off of a 1970 electro 12 and put on a 1969 charger 12, transmissions are the same hooked the hoses the same way but I have no lift Is there something I'm missing. Is there a difference inside the transmissions. Thanks

there is some cones or fluid director peices in the old rear i am shure someone else here can tell you better about it but i know you need them for the lift
