KC9KAS 4,741 #4 Posted October 23, 2010 Old bed springs make a very nice drag!
Don1977 604 #6 Posted October 23, 2010 This little spiker hold 5- 75% solid 12"X16" concrete blocks. The spikes are only 2" long but all that weight puts them in to the hardest ground. I drilled the holes for the spikes and spot welded them in. When I break a couple off I grind the weld off and punch the rest in side and weld in a new one. Horse'n Around 22 #8 Posted October 24, 2010 Don, Please remember that I live in the desert when you read my question, but what does the spikey roller do?Is it for getting oxygen into the ground or something? I think it may be safe for me to assume it is for lawn care but I cant figuere out what. I have seen pictures or rollers that are pulled behind tractors and Im not sure what they are for either. Please pardon my confusion, Im a desert rat, but Im doing everything in my power to change that as soon as possible John

It's also great when seeding a tilled area, the grass will start in the punched areas first.
squonk 41,739 #10 Posted October 24, 2010 If we get a big snow storm forecast, I'll put the Allis blower on the 210-H and post a pic. Not really redneck. More like a "back of the refrigerator soup" dig through the scrap metal pile kind of thing
