closha63 0 #1 Posted October 12, 2010 I have a charger 12 auto and i am not sure what battery should be installed.. Are their batterys that fit in the battery box snug or do i have to get a LT battery that will fit and find a way to secure it. If anyone has any suggestions please advise. Kelly 1,029 #3 Posted October 13, 2010 Not all the trays are the same I know WH uses at least 3 sizes, check the size of your tray, and don't forget to see what side and arrangement the post are on
jusjeepn 59 #4 Posted October 13, 2010 Your Charger came with a class 22 battery from the factory. The tray is bigger than a "standard garden tractor" battery. As Kelly said, there were 3 different size trays. You can either swap out trays and use a smaller battery, or spend the $$$$ and get the bigger battery. The commercial version of the 22NF battery is about $80 at TSC but can be had at other stores in lower grades at lower prices. My last class 22 battery lasted 7 years and was about $55. You'll never get 7 years out of a "standard garden tractor" battery.
