Where do you fing the tranny ID tag

I have yet to see one. I have seen casting numbers on them, but that is when the casting was made etc. A chart exists that tells the model of the tractor, the year, the engine and HP, and the number of the trans that came with the tractor. The chart is in the 1st Yahoo tractor group in the files section. You have to join to get in but it is free. There is a link to the group in the tractors section here at the top of the page. Click on links. Hope that helps. :)

No need to join another group, you should be able to get the tranny model # right here at Redsquare.
