anickel 2 #1 Posted September 23, 2010 I have a 1990 520-H and was wondering if there is a way to put more tention on the control so it stays where its placed. It is the cotrol mounted up by the steering wheel. I need to hold it to maintain speed, otherwise it creeps back to neutral position. Its always been like this so it could be normal? I was running a freinds mid 80's 418 H which has the control in the console and it seems to stay where you put it. Sure would be nice if mine did that. So is there an adjusment? WH nut 553 #2 Posted September 23, 2010 IM not sure about yours, Mine is an 89 with the lever in the middle. But under the seat is a tension adjustment on the motion cam. (/16 wrench and snug it up just a tad, it wont take much
300zx 7 #3 Posted September 23, 2010 WH nut is right, there is an opening under the seat with two bolts. The front one adjusts the neutral position and the back one adjusts the tension on the controls. Just tighten the back one until you get the control to stay where you position it.
