hello all,

I was just given a 257H by my father-in-law (just bought new tractor that is less hassle) that he bought new back in 88 with a 42"S.D. mower and a Snowblower (still have original paperwork for all). Everything seems to work and it only has about 400hours on it, but it hasn't had much in the way of maintenance.

I'm thinking I'm going to strip it down and freshen it up over the winter and see what i end up with come next spring. what can you guys tell me about this series of tractors. from what Ive found so far they don't seem to be the most popular tractors Wheel Horse ever made.

thanks

Mike
