314-H Motion Lever (Neutral switch) Interlock

This interlock keeps me from starting the tractor except by directly jumpering the start lug at the solenoid. I've looked in the demystification guide as well as parts diagrams and it's not obvious to me where this switch is. I thought I'd post here while I continue to disassemble my tractor.

The dash panel is labeled "Motion Lever" and I think this is #14 "Switch - Interlock" on the various diagrams.

Found it!

It has no click. That's the problem.

Got the replacement switch and finally got around to replacing it.

First of all, the tab on the replacement switch is straight. I guess I'll have to bend the curve in it myself (or fasten some kind of bump to activate the switch when the lever is in the neutral position.

Second... The screws are held by nuts on the inaccessible back side of that body panel.

Clearly the designers never thought about replacing the switch once the tractor was assembled. So I set the switch aside and someday when I disassemble the tractor to paint it, I'll replace the switch.
