My new pulling tractor

Recommended Posts

fireman

Been wanting to make a puller for a while. The kids have a go-kart that we just don't have anywhere to ride. Saw an ad on CL for a :) for sale or trade and he was looking for a cart. Talked to the kids and they wanted to do the trade so they can pull too. So off I went and made the deal today. Also stopped by Matt's house and picked up the tub-cart I bought from him. Mower came with a really nice deck too. It's a 79 C-101. Runs good with no smoke. Not going to go crazy with this one seeing as it's just a puller but it still will get a paint job, full tune up and fluid change.

I only paid $200 for the go-cart 2 years ago so I'm not complaining :)

Looks good Jeff. Is that a rubber mounted motor or is the C100 ?? I guess I have to get the Commando set up for pulling now :)

Great deal Jeff, but if I had that one, it wouldn't be a puller. It would be a pusher with a snow blade on it. :)

Nice, Jeff. I LOVE my C-101. I bought it off the original owner, and it pulls a 48" deck great. That 10 horse Kohler has a lot of torque.

Spent a few hours today fabricating an adjustable pulling hitch. Just need to make the actual plate that the chain gets hooked to. Gonna try to sneak one or two pulls in before the winter.

Unfortunately we are camping this weekend and I have to be at the Kent show on Saturday to boot. So trying to swing everything would be impossible. Plus where that is being held would be 140 miles each way for me. Wish I could go!
