WH 953 With Oil Bath Air Cleaner

My 953 has a K-241 engine with oil bath filter. My local Kohler dealer had all the parts on my tune-up list until I said 'oil bath air cleaner'

He said Kohler no longer has parts for this.

Is there another place I can try? I'm not sure replacing with paper would fit between the block and the grill.

What have others done?

What's wrong with your current oil bath?

Just wash it out. It has a wire element so it is reusable.

As Charlie says you shoould be able to just dump out the old oil "bath" in the cleaner and let it drip dry the filter material and reuse it.

You will be good as new.

If you find you don't want to mess with the oil bath filter, a newer style paper filter aircleaner will fit right on it, with no mods.

I have one, if you need one.
