Without running a deck or ground engaging equipment just running the tractor with an eaton 11 how much power does an auto take vs. 8 speed? I had heared it takes 3 to 5hp. buckeye 5 #2 Posted September 7, 2010 I converted an 8-speed to an auto and didnt notice a whole lot of difference just running the tractor. Maybe uses a little more gas. What motor will be powering your eaton 11? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
