Tractor Fans,

Knox, Pa. a local small town is having Horse Thief Days.

Knox claim to fame... Horse Thief capital of the world!

Thursdays big attraction is tractor drag races on the main street!!

I've never been there but I hear it's Real Blast!!!

Soo.... 854 "kriminial" and 603 "Gasser" are loaded for some fun!!!

Changed belt pully on the Gasser today! Still had 6" trans pully (8spd).

Put on a 3 1/2" pully and smaller belt.

Now thats more like it!!!

2nd gear holeshot pulls the front wheels!

Bang 3rd hang the hoops and stays up 8' to 10'!!!

Now if I don't crash 'n burn! or break sumpin'!!!

Should be fun! It's a wild ride gets the ol' ticker pumpin'!!

Kiss the ol' Gasser for luck!!

Them boys have some FAST tractors!!

I can't beat'em! But the WOW Factor will get'em!!

Should bring the 'ol lawn ranger down. With a 13 horse motor, 4" pulley on the engine and 2" on the tranny, it flat out moves!!!!! No dumping the pedal, it WILL go over!!!!

Guys the tractor race was a blast!!

But my back is killin' me!!!

Made 5 passes, it launches hard and comes down hard!

Sky high hole shot 2nd gear, hangs the hoops bangin' 3rd!

They put me in the open class, This thing's got a stock 18hp stock 8sp trans!

Guys in open had, 1000cc Sisuki, 400cc ATV, and Vanguard twins on alcohol!!

They put me in the wrong class, I got my azz handed to me!!

I was parked around the corner, when I pulled the gasser up through the crowd.

The entire crowd of fans roared they couldn't belive what they had seen!

The "Gasser" was a corwd favorite ! And that was a big crowd!

I did good even in the open class! (but no way I could win that class!)

A guy there vidio taping said he'd post on youtube, but haven't seen anything yet!

The engine runs strong, but it feels like the governor is pulling the

RPMs down. I Think it should stay up on the rear wheels longer!

And top end speed is down. 4" engine pully, 3 1/2" trans pully.

I want to represent brand! But I need to pick it up some!

The "Gasser is a crowd pleaser... But it needs to perform to back it up!!!

Guys, I know this update is very late, But I got my arse handed to me !

And I'am still lickin' my wounds!

Go to the race late and in the mass confusion got put in the fast class!

Vanguard on achy, 1000cc Susiki, 'n that Li'l crapsman 300cc atv powered!

Dam that guy's fast he won it all! That's the guy to beat!!!

But I did make the show and the local newspaper!

I'am pissed, an my bud's keep pokin' me to build a "Fast" tractor!

Soo... found a 750cc Kaw ,2 bikes, should make a lite fast tractor!

Should I represent Wheel Horse or build a generic tractor???

I have a short video of a garden tractor demo derby at a county fair. I thought my wife had down-loaded it to PB, but didn't. Hope I can find it.

There weren't any tractors in that derby.....WH are much to valuable for that!

Not gonna' insult any tractor collectors or there favoriet brand!

I'll build customs, but... flat black is the new red!

All customs will be generic ! I have ideas for the new "dragster"!

lakes or frozen grass flat field, have someone plow the snow from the top make two lanes with snow in the middle ( safety really!) make it three times as long as you need, you can get going faster than you can slow down, for a tree you can use a flagman or just wire up a couple lamps to a 12v battery/switches

alot of guys use the mtd crapsmen shells to start with, mine use to be white with sears parts, just could not see having white zit in a sea of red
