bmuone 15 #1 Posted August 17, 2010 Can I use the clearance lights (little cheapos from walmart) with one wire, on the rear of a 211-4? The headlights have a hot wire and a ground wire.
Save Old Iron 1,566 #2 Posted August 17, 2010 No problem, the mounting screws need to hit a good ground connection - usually the metal pan is grounded to the chassis. If not, it is easy to create one.

tgranthamfd 29 #5 Posted August 18, 2010 Got some good looking ones from Tractor Supply with 2 bulbs, basically the same as the wal-mart ones just an extra bulb, for about $4.99 ea. here is a link where you can see them. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=17706
bmuone 15 #6 Posted August 18, 2010 Tks Kelly and Terry. I bought the Walmart lights while in Paris yesterday. Forgot about checking at TSC. Ck'd this morning and the ones I have will not require a new hole drilled like Kelly said. Those TSC lights may look more appropriate on my 417A when it needs new lights. W9JAB 156 #10 Posted August 18, 2010 I put the back lamps on for dark October night when I'm using my leaf sweeper, so I can see what is going into the basket. :)
