Gene_S 93 #2 Posted August 31, 2010 Just a little bump since the date is getting closer... Why is it the older we get the faster time goes? Hope to see alot of people there with or without tractors!

Tristans702 0 #5 Posted September 7, 2010 We were thinking of coming to this show, anyone know of a place to camp nearby? It is almost a 3 hour drive for us.
whfan74 2,067 #6 Posted September 7, 2010 You can camp at the show area. There are a few people that will bring tents or trailers and spend the night. It is a nice little lay out for the show and camping. Gene will chime in later today and give you more of the specific details! :)
Gene_S 93 #7 Posted September 7, 2010 Like Scott said you can camp on site. There are bathrooms but no shower house. Its a small city park but there is plenty of room for tents and small campers. Hope to see you there. I will be making a big batch of white chili for supper friday evening and people staying the night are more then welcome to join us! Tristans702 0 #8 Posted September 8, 2010 Thanks Gene and Scott. I am not sure if you remember us, Tristan won the tires at the Charlotte show. We won't know anyone there but he has been bitten by the Wheel Horse bug and wants to go to any shows that are close to us. So your hospitality is greatly appreciated. I am assuming we need to call one of the numbers on the flyer to register or let them know we are camping? Thanks for all of the information.
Gene_S 93 #9 Posted September 8, 2010 Yes I do remember you guys... I just noticed your RS name and I glad we could help... You can call one of the numbers if you like. Ken is another member here on RS and he can give you more info if you need it. If I can help you with anything just let me know.

whfan74 2,067 #11 Posted September 8, 2010 If you guys are coming from the Charlotte area you are looking at just over 2 hours to Mentone. It is a nice little drive through scenic Northern Indiana. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to attend the Mentone show this year! I do remember you guys and winning the tires up at Charlotte. The smile on your little boy's face was priceless........I am really glad he won them. I am having a meet and greet just two weeks later a little north of Mentone. Many members are going to be coming and quite a few will have tractors with them. We would love for you to make it and enjoy a great day with other tractor enthusiasts. Keep us in mind! You can find the information in the Red Square Herd thread.
