privateer 1 #1 Posted July 28, 2010 Hi everyone, Great site here with tons of knowledgeable info! In the spring I picked up a 656 in great condition. Shes all original and was well taken care of. The only thing wrong is the seat cushion is missing. I kinda like the carpet I'm sitting on. Came with a single stage thrower and the flag. Will tackle that project come winter. She was sitting in a barn for many years. With all your help with the techy HH60, I tore apart the carb, gave her a new battery, took off the flywheel, cleaned and reset the points, gave her some new belts and sharpened the blades. She started right up and cuts like a champ just like it did 44 years ago. Starts up immediately and runs great with no smoke! Got the bug now! Getting ready to pick up another WH from a friend that said just get it off my property and all the attachments that I have with it. Don't know the model yet but I'll keep ya all posted. I'm excited with the new find. The arsenal grows. Thanks for looking, Rich

Coadster32 793 #8 Posted July 28, 2010 :D If you treat a techy right, it'll treat you right. I always recommend a fuel filter, and a shoutoff valve. Run it out of gas for storage, and you should have no problems.

privateer 1 #12 Posted July 31, 2010 I just saw my new to me tractor today given to me by a friend. Need to borrow a friends trailer one of these days. A C-165 black hood. Came with wheel weights, plow blade, 48" deck and a snow thrower. With a little help from my redsquare friends and some tlc, she'll be up and running for sure. Anyone got the specs on the trans and engine?
