little update. thanks to this crazy heat and humidity in michigan i haven't been in the barn much working on the tractor. well i finally decided who cares and went at it. well the barn was trashed so first i cleaned it up and re arranged everything. much more functional now.

as for the 753 i was able to get the steering all in. everything is pretty tight except where the shaft that runs the length of the frame has a lot of play at the fan gear end where it goes into that bracket. guess I'll be turning a bushing to compensate for all the wear. found a brass bushing that fit well in the tank so that was nice. got the brake band on and finally made it a rolling tractor after playing musical tires with a few tractors. picked up a parts tractor that i think has nicer spindles on the front so this will probably get moved to this tractor as well.

whats left:

- spring for the clutch

- drive belt

- seat painted

- finish the wiring

- body work on the hood and painted

- wheels stripped and painted

- fenders sand blasted and painted (not a big fender fan so that may not happen..)

and thats about it. hopefully in the next week it can be driving.

the bushing was a 3/4 ID and 7/8 OD. a little epoxy and it was a tight fit in the tank :)
