looking for drag race movie

im looking for a street/drag race movie i seen clips of on youtube but know i cant find it. i dont remember the name. they where driving on the right side of the car. and i remember a 57 chevy raceing. think its a british movie ?. say 1960-70's era. anybody have a clue ?.

i have an old one and it is called hot rod,it was made in 1979,awesome movie if you like drag racing and street racing,now i also have a comedy called Hollywood knights from 1980 thats got some nice old cars in it,hope it helped

never seen hot rod. hollywood nights was a good one, tony danza in the 57 chevy . 2 lane black top and american graffeti are also classics .

one of my all time favorites is toby haliki's original gone in 60 seconds.

i found this list of old car movies, but that british one im looking for isn't in there . car movies
