66shelby 0 #1 Posted July 17, 2010 Just got my 800 Commando. I'm not sure it was the best choice AFTER doing more research. Lots of little things, but runs and appears complete. Coming off an 18hp hydrostsat it is obviously a change. I've just got a small city lot to do now, so I'm sure it will be fine. Since this is a one year only model, how deep a hole am I in? There seems to be little info and fewer parts lists. If anyone can help out with copies or sources I would be appreciative. I'm sure this will turn into a resto project by winter! stevebo-(Moderator) 8,330 #7 Posted July 18, 2010 Is that a Commando 8 ?? If so it was made in 68 and 69. Very similar other models that vintage and most parts are interchangable. I have a nice little all original 68. Welcome !!
