Deepfork 0 #1 Posted July 15, 2010 I picked up a 83 GT 1642, just mowed 2 acres with it today. The thing runs and works like new! Anyhow just looking for information and came across this place. Best site I have found so far about these machines. Here are a few pics of mine.

stevebo-(Moderator) 8,330 #11 Posted July 15, 2010 Deepfork- Welcome to the square. You will find yourself on this site often and that nice shinny machine will not be your last. I give you about 2 months and you will have another one. I like the looks of that machine. IMO I would do a nice job of taping off the front grill and painting that black. It would really break up the grey. Looks great !!!

Deepfork 0 #18 Posted July 15, 2010 I like the gray. You could really jazz her up with a few accents. Looks like it was well cared for. I am already working on getting a decal kit, and correct wheels for the deck. I think we are gonna get the front painted to look like a skull. My 14 year old has been at me since he first saw it. I guess he is on to something, look at it now just missing some teeth!!! :thanks:
